Domaine Au Point-du-Jour

Eric et Maxime Durand

Chemin de Gobelet 4

CH–1185 Mont‑sur‑Rolle

The Au Point-du-Jour estate is located below Mont‑sur‑Rolle, 300 meters from Lake Geneva, at the spot where the sun rises for the residents of the upper part of the commune. This explains the name of this family-run operation, passed down from father to son since its founding in 1924 by John Durand. Today, Eric and his son Maxime carry on the tradition by producing high-quality wines crafted with the utmost care.

Our permanent quest for excellence begins with work in the vineyards. Across approximately 6 hectares, we use traditional methods to cultivate emblematic Vaud grape varieties such as Chasselas, Pinot Noir, and Gamay. Other less common varieties have been added over time, such as Chasselas Violet or Auxerrois, which we were among the first to introduce to our region, acting as pioneers. Today, we offer 12 different grape varieties to our clientele, all grown using integrated production methods that respect the surrounding flora and fauna, a concern that is close to our hearts.
