A Thousand-Year-Old Vineyard
The Châtagneréaz vineyard consists of heavy, clayey soils that yield a very structured white wine, with a full and delightful fruitiness, supported by a pleasant hint of acidity. This same soil also produces, among other things, a full-bodied and elegant red wine.
The Châtagneréaz is long on the palate and well-structured and full-bodied. The vines are cultivated closely with a high planting density, nearly 10,000 vines per hectare, and pruned short using the Royat cordon method.
Today, this estate comprises 18 hectares exclusively dedicated to vines, making it one of the best-exposed sites on the Côte.
