The History of Domaine Les Gam’notes

From a young age, Cédric grew up connected to the land and animals, immersed in the agricultural life of the Mont‑sur‑Rolle farm. His grandfather, whom he deeply admired, instilled in him a taste for a job well done and a love for the terroir. It was his grandfather who encouraged him to pursue viticulture.

In 1992, Cédric took over six hectares of vines on the plots of Château de Mont‑sur‑Rolle and Serge Bovard. Two years later, in 1994, he established the Colombier vineyard with his uncle Pierre-André Meylan, using land that was then pasture. This venture gave rise to the domain’s first ranges: Les Réserves and Les Découvertes du Colombier.

In 1992, 1994, and 1999, Cédric became a father to three boys, to whom he passed on, season after season, his love for wine and music — a passion shared by the entire family.

In 2010, the Les Gam’notes range naturally emerged, combining music and wine as two expressions of the same harmony. The label, inspired by their family musical notes, became the domain’s signature.

Today, Domaine Les Gam’notes spans twelve hectares of vines, both leased and managed. Cédric’s sons actively participate in the life of the domain, perpetuating this passion passed down from generation to generation. In 2024, new premises were inaugurated, marking a new step to welcome visitors into a modern and friendly space, true to the domain’s family spirit.
