Les Dames de Hautecour
Coraline de Wurstemberger
Route de la Noyère 10
A women-owned estate for over three centuries
Since 1649, the Hautecour estate has been a women-owned property. Over time, the vineyards have been passed down to their children by Louise, Julie-Pauline, Adèle, Blanche, Ernestine, Théodora…
Following in the footsteps of her ancestors, Coraline de Wurstemberger, the current owner, manages the estate now known as Les Dames de Hautecour. She welcomes guests and visitors with simplicity, hospitality, and humor. Her daughter, Camille, lives on the property.
Coraline is a founding member of the association “Les Artisanes de la Vigne et du Vin” and the Swiss female winemakers’ exhibition “DiVINes!”.
Théodora de Salis was the great lady of Hautecour. Nicknamed Dora, she acquired the estate house, which was formerly a communal oven. She passed on her love of the vineyards to her granddaughter Coraline, for whom she remains a source of inspiration.
