The origins of Domaine de Montbenay date back to the High Middle Ages, when monks from the Abbey of Montbenoît, arriving from France, began planting the first vines on these lands.

Today, the estate is managed by Paul de Watteville, representing the 16th generation, alongside his father Maurice, the 15th generation, who shares his experience and invaluable advice.

Working with them are two loyal collaborators, Filippo and Giuseppe, who provide their expertise and daily support. Together, they carry on this ancestral tradition while ensuring the quality and longevity of the estate.
